Oggi, l'uso di laser è una parte infallibile del successo della terapia di malattie periodontali perché ha un effetto anti-infiammatorio e battericido. Con la destruzione dei batteri nel gengive infiammate arriva la guarigione di gengivite e prevenzione del progresso della parodontite come una malattia più comune della cavità orale di un uomo moderno.
Nella terapia endodontica, si usa per la sterilizzazione del canale pulito e trasformato della radice e per la terapia delle lesioni periapicali in combinazione con l’idrossido di calcio.
Le applicazioni di laser sono numerosi: trattamento delle ulcere, cheilite, herpes labialis, leucoplachia e dentina ipersensibilità, sbiancamento dei denti ... L'uso di questa tecnologia ha migliorato la prassi dentista molto, e le sue possibilità sono illimitate, per ora.

LASER-TERAPIA

Laser e la tecnologia laser sono utilizzati oggi in numerose indicazioni mediche. In odontoiatria, per le sue caratteristiche, la semplicità nel lavoro e i trattamenti indolori, l’uso di laser è particolarmente significativo nel lavoro con i bambini e i pazienti che hanno paura di interventi del dentista, ma è usato anche nella prassi quotidiana del dentista.
Funziona in modo efficiente su tessuti duri e molli della cavità orale.
L'effetto di laser su tessuti molli fornisce "la chirurgia senza sangue" meno invasiva, un minimo di complicazioni post-operatorie e un intervento senza dolore. Le indicazioni chirurgiche per l’uso di laser sui tessuti molli sono numerosi: gengivectomia, la rimozione di frenulo, incisione e drenaggio di ascessi, la chiusura di fistole, il rilevamento degli impianti, trattamento di perimplantiti ...
