A loss of tooth is a common phenomenon that happens in the middle of trauma (during a strike), caries, gums diseases or aging. Whatever the reason is, a loss of tooth must be compensated – because of aesthetic and functional reasons. Although there are numerous options of teeth restorations such as dentures or bridges, it has been shown that non of them is as functional as implants. In many cases, implants are the only logical choice to make a complete restoration of teeth functionality and supporting structures.

What is the procedure like of the dental implants installation?
Before installing implants, it is necessary to check the health of Your teeth and gums; if there are signs of disease, it is necessary to rehabilitate the condition. The treatment will be planned after X-ray examination with which is evaluated the quality of bones and checked the anatomy of support structure. Your dentist will introduce You with procedure of implant installation, explain You possible risks and complications and introduce You to post-operative treatment. After installing implants, there is a period of healing, osseointegration, in which the bone permeates the implant. It usually takes from 2 to 6 months. After that period, it is possible to do prosthetic restoration on the implant.

Who can embed dental implants?
Everyone who is missing natural teeth and who doesn’t have a natural possibility for chewing, talking or aesthetical looks is a candidate to get his teeth embedded. Implants can be a solution for difficult or completely disabled wearing a dental prosthesis.
It is important that You have enough bone tissue, that a bone is firm enough, and that You don’t have health issues which could endanger healing (uncontrolled diabetes, chemotherapy after tumor or similar).

Implants that we install consist of two parts. First part is integrated in the bone, and the other one is a superstructure which is screwed by external or internal hexagonal connection in the part which is integrated in the bone.

Superstructure – abutment represents a part on which is cemented metal-ceramics or zirconium – ceramics crown. Superstructure imitates sanded tooth. There are flat and angular superstructures because of needs of the slope of future ceramic covers.

Fixed bridge
Before the installation of fixed bridge, there is a thorough analysis of the whole situation and the satisfactory bone condition. After fulfilling wanted conditions, six implants are installed and then on them is fixed a bridge made of 12 members. Sometimes, for fixed reconstructions, it is possible to reduce number of implants, and sometimes it is possible to reach for extra bone regenerations and to increase number of implants.

All-on-4
All-on-4 represents an installation of fixed bridge of a whole jaw anchored on 4 implants. A concept is particularly convenient for those patients who don’t have enough bones for classic implant installation in their side and back parts of jaw. With this way of installation, it is possible to fixedly rehabilitate situation of complete lack of teeth, without any extra procedures of bone regenerations. All-on-4 allows production of fast fixed temporary bridges, with which You can get teeth in one day only.

Hybrid dentures
Fixed rehabilitation is not possible in cases when the bone is significantly reduced. In that case, we make hybrid dentures for patients, which represent foundation for installing four implants and installation of super-constructions for denture stabilization.
This denture is very firm, stable and much smaller in regards to classic mobile denture.

Cover denture on implants
In many cases of complete lack of teeth of lower jaw, patients cannot wear classic mobile denture. We recommend them cover denture: in frontal part of lower jaw, we install two implants and on them are set buckles whose main goal is stabilization of jaw and achievement of its complete functionality.
